Nut Shortbread

Ingredients 

200 gram butter
¾ cup cornflour
¾ cup icing sugar

 

1 ½ cups flour
¾ cup chopped macadamia nuts
pinch salt

 

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and icing sugar together.
  2. Stir in the sifted cornflour, flour and salt.
  3. Roll into a sausage shape on floured board.
  4. Wrap in greaseproof paper and chill in the fridge.
  5. Cut into thick slices and bake 35 minutes at 160 degrees.
